Esta es una lista de las montañas más altas del mundo. Hay al menos 109 montañas en la Tierra que superan los 7.200 metros sobre el nivel del mar. La mayoría de ellas se encuentran en el centro o sur de Asia. Es difícil medir la altura de una montaña, por lo que estas medidas pueden no ser exactas. También es difícil averiguar si dos picos cercanos forman parte de la misma montaña o son dos montañas diferentes.
