Kool & the Gang
Kool & The Gang es una banda de R&B-pop de Jersey City, Estados Unidos. Se formaron en 1964 como una banda de jazz llamada The Jazziacs. En 1969 firmaron con De-Lite Records y publicaron su álbum de nombre propio.
A finales de los años 70 pasaron del deep funk puro al disco y tuvieron más éxito.
En la banda están Robert Bell, Ronald Bell, George Brown, Dennis Thomas, Robert Mickens, Clifford Adams, James Taylor, Sonnie Martin, Rodney Ellis, Jirmad Gordon y Shawn McQuiller.
Su canción "Jungle Boogie" aparece en la película Pulp Fiction de 1994.
